My I.T. department just changed out my computer for a new one. Now my Excel 2003 will not allow me to do lookup tables off of other worksheets or workbooks. Does anyone know of any options that need to be selected in order to allow me to link to other worksheets?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
It probably has nothing to do with Excel...
More likely related to Network Permissions.

Can you actually open any of the books you are trying to link to?

Yes, I have both of the workbooks open. When I try to click a cell or group of cells in the second workbook it doesn't fill in the formula bar.

OK, make sure both books are opened in the same instance of Excel..

Open the first book (the one with your formulas).
Then, from within that book, go to File - Open - Browse to and open the 2nd file.

Now you should be able to link.

That worked! Is there a way to make it so that you can open a workbook from Explorer and it automatically opens in the same Excel session?
