Excel 2003 Standard vs. Professional problem

Hi - recently our IT department upgraded several users to 2003 Office Professional Edition. Now, in one report, when they run macros, the macros cause the file to freeze up and ultimately the file crashes.

Users who have Office Standard 2003 can still run the report without error.

Anybody know what could be causing this and any remedies?
