Any help please, I have just upgraded my office package to 2003, all works well but my excel 2000 progs dont all want to work. The important ones open, initially with a message about security setting Hi/Med/Low when moving macros (there's no macros on any of my spreadsheets) I aint clever enough! then all I get is an open spreadsheet which I am unable to access. Small message on the bottom of the screen stating Calculations 0% at which point the prog just hangs, everything else perfect, any help most welcome

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
One of my clients called me several times today because they just installed 2003 on their computer and were now getting fatal errors on their Excel apps. They went to the Microsoft website and the "Help and Support" link on Windows, downloaded all the critical updates, and everything worked for them after that. Be sure to download all those MS updates, and try running your programs again to see if maybe that's the problem.
