Hi,
I have a series of dates in a row (across many columns). Some of the columns have dates and others are blank (date not filled in yet).

I need to do a search on each row and identify both the earliest date and also the latest date, excluding of course those entries which don't have a valid date in them (blanks, etc...).

The dates are not in any specific sequence within the row.

I'm sure there is a easy way to do it, just not in my brain :) Any help would be appreciated !!!

Thanks. I had tried that but unfortunately, since a "blank" cell returns a value of 1/0/1900 (default number eqivilent for cells formated for dates) all I would get is that value and not the earliest "valid" date...unless I'm missing something?

Your blank cells must contain some data for that to occur. I tested with null cells and it worked for me. Do your blank cells contain zeros that are formatted as blanks?
