I used to be able to drag formulas down multiple columns while recording a macro but now since I upgraded to 2007, it is not working. Do I have to do some thing different?

Thanks for your help,
Brad

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
I just gave this a try and had little difficulty. Could you post an example of the formula, give it's location, and the range that you're trying to autofill?

I am a little confused by your terms tho. I assumed you meant 'down multiple rows' and not 'down multiple columns.'

I see that I can't seem to drag across multiple rows AND columns. This doesn't work regardless of recording a macro. However, I can do a single row across multiple columns and then drag the whole selection across several columns to get the desired range.

Thanks for helping out..pretty basic formula and was 100% sucessfull in 2003..

L2 = =SUMIF(BASS!$A$5:$A$5000,$B2,BASS!T$5:T$5000)..I would drag this accross to Q2...then grab L2:Q2 and drag down to L258:Q258.

When I stop recording and "play" the macro, it only populates L2:Q2..witht he same format as L1:Q1 with no data.
