Hi All,

One of good advantages Excel 2007 is when I type for example “=v” it shows dropdown list of functions starting with “V” (VALUE, VAR, ..., VLOOKUP) & description of selected function, but after hitting “Tab” key it enters selected function & openes parentheses for example “=VLOOKUP(“ & waits for user, It doesn’t show what values needed to be entered like in Excel 2003 “VLOOKUP(lookup_value, table_array, col_index_num,[range_lookup]).
By the way In Excel Popular Options ScreenTip style set to “Show feature descriptions in ScreenTips
What is missing

Excel Facts

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
You may have autocomplete turned off.

Turn Formula AutoComplete on or off

  1. Click the Microsoft Office Button

, click Excel Options, and then click the Formulas category.

  1. Under Working with formulas, select or clear Formula AutoComplete.
If it is on it should show the tooltip for the function arguments.
