I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1. I'm using Excel 2007 (12.0.6661.500) SP3 MSO (12.0.66607.1000).

Currently, I've to open excel, "un-aximize" it, set the window size accross both monitors and open each workbook within it, adjusting the display size of each workbook to compare side-by-side.

Does anyone know if Microsoft ever added additional functionality/support for running a single instance of excel on dual monitors? Have they done anything about this? I'd like to snap each workbook to each monitor, or maximize each wb on seperate monitors, but only have one instance of excel running so I have full functionality with copy/paste and so forth, also from a resource perspective.

I'd like to see one toobar span across both monitors, while each workbook opened would have its own independent ability to fit to, snap to, or maximize to the monitor it is being displayed on.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
