Excel 2007: Pivot Chart. Grand Total as part of graph

Hello Forum,

I have created a pivot chart based on a pivot table. My pivot table displays Grand Total as one of three columns. When I create a bar chart, I can see the other two columns, but I can't bring in the Grand Total column as a bar. I would like this chart to refresh automatically, so I would like to avoid a work around outside the pivot (like pasting values or creating external references). How do I plot the Grand Total?

I have searched around for possible solutions to this issue and I have found replies indicating that this is not possible. If it is not possible, that is fine, but I wanted to post it here first before giving up.

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
