Excel 2007

A friend has been using Excel 2000. The PC was just updated with 2007. The macros in her spreadsheet will not work. The spreadsheet also says ReadOnly files. I do not have access to Excel 2007 so I am totally in the dark as to what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

I imagine the vagueness of your question will elicit comparably vague responses. We are, after all, even more in the dark than you!



A little more detail, perhaps? Which macros don't work?

The spreadsheet also says ReadOnly files.

For the read only, go to Explorer and right click on the file, select properties. If the file is marked read-only, unmark it.

For the macros, they are disabled by default - you need to change the macro security level for them to run.
