It has been a while since I have read this board. I had a major issue with excel 2007 and had to switch back to 2003. The problem I was having was with the autocalc. I would be working and the program would freeze and I would have to close it down and lose all my work.

I am wondering if there have been any updates to 2007 to remedy this problem. Or if you know any way to get around the auto calculation.

I work with extremely large models and the extra columns would be nice to reduce the number of sheets in my file, but this autocalc was so cumbersome that it is more efficient to use 2003. Any help would be great!! Thanks.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Have you tried turning off Autocalc?
Formulas > Calculation Options (at the right of the Formulas tab)
