I have an Excel 2010 worksheet that has about 20 ActiveX Command Buttons. There are sections to the worksheet and all the buttons do is hide and unhide the sections. The buttons should hide with the sections they are on. Everything seemed to work fine for a while, but now, when a section is hidden, the buttons on it shrink to a thin sliver and move to the bottom or top of the page. I have the buttond set to 'Move and Size with cells' and as I say, this worked fine for a while. I was advised to change this to 'Move but don't Size with cells' but with this, the buttons don't hide when the section is hidden, they just sit on top of the worksheet.

Does anyone know how to 'lock' buttons to a cell or location, so they hide when the location is hidden and unhide when it is unhidden?

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Make sure that the buttons don't overlap the cell. You can hold down Alt when positioning/sizing to snap to the grid.

Hi Andrew. Yes, I've tried that, they are all centred within a cell not overlapping. I've tried Grouping them, which doesn't work either.

I can't reproduce what you are seeing in Excel 2010 sorry. Do you want to put your workbook on a share like Box.com and post the URL so that I can take a look?

Sorry, I can't do that due to the Company policy. I've had to use a work around as I need to get this completed, but thanks for the replies.
