Excel 2010 Display problems

I'm running Excel 2010 on a Windows 7 machine. We have a standard spreadsheet with several different controls, pull downs, option buttons, check boxes, etc. Some of them have shadows that appear when opened in Excel 2010, but not in Excel 2007 or Excel 2003. Has anyone else noticed this? There appears to be no way to tget rid of these shadows.
Any help you can offer will be appreciated. Thanks!
