Just upgraded from Excel 2003 to Excel 10. When I try to open an existing file I keep getting a message that the file does not exist. This happens if I enter the file name without the .xls in the file name box.
If I include the .xls after the file name in the file name box, the file instantly opens. The file type box shows *.xl* so it should be able to open the file without the ext.
Is this controlled someplace?
