Morning All,
I recently installed Office Pro 2013, while having Office Pro 2010 currently installed, and did not uninstall 2010.
I was hoping to use both. Seemed to work at first, but I tried to set excel 2010 as default and just cannot get it set.
I have tried Open With, Set as default. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.
Thanks.

BTW, I really do not like the 2013 version, I rather 2010.

Thanks,
Pujo

Hi Pujo. I had the same problem. I didn't like the 2013 version either so I solved my problem by uninstalling Office 2013. Unless you're using Windows 8, I don't think there are many advantages to the 2013 version.

Thats what I may do. The 2013 version was only $9.99 with my employee purchase program, so no big loss.
Thanks for your comment, glad to see it wasn't just me.
So an uninstall is all I need to do.
Thanks

What a coincidence! It cost me $15.00. You got a better deal.

Not really, I ordered the back up DVD for an additional $9.99 so it was a total of $20.
No big loss, will install it on a diff unit.
You got the better deal if you didn't get the recovery DVD.

In earlier versions of Excel, running Detect and Repair would restore the default. I expect running Diagnostics in 2010 would do the same thing.

Well, I ran the diagnostics, and all is well again without uninstalling 2013.
Thanks!

Question is now, what to do with 2013, do I leave it installed, or remove it?
