I need help sorting in 2010 Excel. I only want to sort a portion of data that resides in the whole worksheet. In older versions I would highlight the data that I wanted to sort and choose sort. In version 2010 it does not allow me to perform this function. When I highlight the data that I want to sort then go to the sort function all of the data in the worksheet gets automatically sorted. PLEASE HELP!! How do I sort specific data within the worksheet?

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
I have Excel 2003, 2007, and 2010...but I haven't had to sort in 2010 as yet. Perhaps if you insert a blank row at the end of those records you want to sort.

Welcome to the Board!

If you use the Data-->Sort (Alt+D+S) dialog you'll be able to do that.
