Hi
MAC Excel 2011 Icon has a slash mark through it. When I click on it, I get a pop up that says it needs to be updated. Is it not possible to use Excel 2011 any longer? I have a macro that only works on 2011. This will suck if I can't use 2011 any longer.

It looks like while there is no longer support for it, it should still function. Maybe something in this article can help?

I know support ended in 2017 but I continued to use it with no problem thru 2019. I'll give it a read.

Not something that I've seen with windows versions, if it's been working fine until now then I would imagine that it is an OS problem (e.g. security update blocking unsupported software) rather than an excel problem.

Perhaps it would be a good time to look at updating your macro to work with a newer version?

What is the code that only runs on 2011? Does it involve custom controlbars? What versions of Excel have you tested and found that the code fails there?

I hired someone to write it. It prints to PDF in a folder, every page in every sheet. When I open the folder, each sheet has it's own PDF with the sheet name. It probably saves me 1/2 an hour. I don't remember who did it for me but I think he said it doesn't work properly in the 365 version with something to do with objects if I remember correctly.

Good point! I'll dig deeper. I believe the developer told me that it would not work in the 365 version and had something to do with printing objects. I'll research that more too.
