Excel 2013 Filtering on Tables

Hi Team, just working with Tables in excel 2013. Setup a range then converted it to a table. Using the filters on the column headers I filtered column 2 on the value 'KCG'. The result was that the list appeared to be filtered just on that value except when I scrolled to the bottom and saw the value 'Transpack' in column 2. On further looking at it there is a funny little half hidden column just above the last row and the colour and font of the row numbers below that is a different set than the 'Table' like setting above it. Please see the attached image, I also opened up the name manager to show the range of the table, note that it goes to row 1055. If I clicked on that little half hidden column then another row would appear below it. Looks a bit like an MS 'feature', anyone else struck this problem? Cheers Conad.
