Excel 2013 Suddenly Opens Only Maximized

Hello,
I have Excel 2013 64-bit on Windows 7 64-bit computer with a two-monitor setup. (this is not a new setup or install)
I rarely have any window open to maximum unless I am doing something special.
I do not know when exactly, but it seems to be earlier this week, I cannot stop Excel from opening maximized. In the past, this was resolved by opening a worksheet, sizing the window to where I want it, making changes and saving it. Closing Excel. The next time Excel would be opened, it should open to that size. If not, that specific worksheet should open to that size if opened through Windows Explorer. None of these tactics work this and I have to resize every file I open, every time it is opened.
Any thoughts of what happened? More importantly, how to fix?

Thank you for any advice.
