I seem to remember, maybe in excel 2003 VBA, as you are writing vba code suggestions would show up

for example if i typed

Sheets("Sheet1").

after I typed period, suggestions like cells, add, delete, move.... would show up

I am using 2013, how do i get this functionality

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.

I notice the same thing. It works sometimes but not always. Hopefully someone here will explain it to us. I know if you type "Vba." then it will popup but it gives you a whole list of functions

Compile errors can break Intellisense. Get a clean compile, then resume coding.

If you type this: "Cells." then it will popup a list of suggestions like "activate"
