Hi,

I have an issue with a page break on a worksheet and I tried everything to remove but nothing of nothing happens.

I tried Page Layout< Breaks< Remove Page Break (does nothing, the page break lines still there)

I again, tried placing cursor under the page break line and backspace and the step above (nothing again). I also tried to reset All Page Breaks and desperate I tried clear print areas, nothing happens. I still see the page breaks, I think I am going crazy.

Please, any help to solve this will be much appreciated.

Regards,
Dan

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
What do you mean? You still see the dotted lines? Close the book and reopen.

changing the paper size nothing happens

there is a column which had the page break line, I delete it and now the page break has gone to the last column in the worksheet. I did the same for the row below the page break line, nothing happened. I tried to clear the print area and nothing

I hardly notice page breaks In View > Normal, where as in Page Break Preview they are very obvious

What problems are their display causing you

i am using another software which is picking up the data from this worksheet, but the page break is making the software pick up the information of all the columns from Excel; which is delaying its calculation and not working properly

can you export to csv and then import that, excel only uses page breaks for layout when printing

You can only remove breaks if the area to be printed is smaller than a page.
If your area is larger than a page then you will have automatic page breaks
Have you tried dragging the page breaks?
