Excel 97- can't copy series

My excel won't copy a series

In another column I am trying to
link cells to only the impaired rows

Can this even be done.

if you just need to copy the series down, select the series and RIGHT click, and hold the button down, on the little black box in the bottom right, drag down as needed, when you let go of the button pick copy cells
