I would like to know how to create a histogram.
Is it simply a column chart?
The help files don't help me much and I find
histogram nowhere in my study books.
The help files seem to indicate that it is a sort of add in. When I create a column chart
I don't see the references that are explained in the help files. If it isn't the same as a column chart please explain in detail what, how and when I would use a histogram.
Thank you ever so much.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Histograms are supported by the Analysis ToolPak add-in. See the Excel Help topics for...

- "Install and use the Analysis ToolPak"
- "Histogram analysis tool"
- "About the Histogram dialog box"
