I can query data in an Access DB from Excel, with the Excel file updating to reflect changes to the data in the DB. I can also create a link to an Excel workbook in Access and changes to the Excel workbook update the table in Access. Is it possible to create a two way link without VBA? I'm happy to learn the VBA method (if there is one) but would rather not waste time if there's a simpler method.

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Assuming this is 2007/2010...

Ribbon : Data > (Group) Get External Data > (Button) From Access

This inserts a linked table to your Spreadsheet. If you set it to be Read-Write, I'm fairly sure it changes the Access table too.

Don't exactly remember if this works - I built one from a Linked Access Table, but I still had to use capture events to fire SQL back to the accdb. I think there was a particular reason I did that rather than let people edit the table
