Haven't used this before so am not sure how much info is needed.

I am student and at college use XL Pro and Office 2000. All of the students have the same privileges. Some of us have had the PC crash when using an advanced filter in Excel, me being one of them. In fact it's crashed every time for me. One of the students has never had a problem. So we tried the following experiment.

I used this other students pc on his sign-on. It crashed. He did it and it didn't. He then used my pc on my sign-on. No crash. So we used each others pc's on our own sign-ons. I crashed he didn't. So we then looked to see if we were doing anything different. There were minor differences so I did it his way. I crashed again.

At home I am using XP Home and Office XP and I have never had the above problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?
