I want to have a listbox showing a selection of names and when a name is selected the cursor should "jump" to a specific location on the same sheet. A sort of hyperlink in a dropdown list! Can anyone help.

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Hi, Benjee
Welcome to the Board !!!!!

yes, we surely can help
how is the "jump"location related to the selection in the listbox ?
this might be necessary to know: how are you populating the listbox ?

kind regards,
Erik

Thanks for responding Erik.
Listbox will be populated from a single column. Once a selection has been made from the listbox the cursor should goto the named cell. eg. Should I select Brussel from the list then the cursor should goto the named cell Brussel on another sheet. Hopefully this is clear.

Hello,

see the helpfiles for GoTo
Code:
Private Sub ListBox1_Click()
Application.Goto reference:=ListBox1
End Sub
this will bug when the range does not exist

best regards,
Erik
