We know that we can use in other COM languages ActiveX libraries without registration and for this we have to put in the same location with our exe file a manifest file that contains al dependencies (with their unique ID) of our project. I know how to create in vb a manifest file but I wonder if a similar process is possible in Excel. Is it mandatory to compile the Excel file previously ? I would like make excel to recognize the manifest file but is it possible, once the manifest file is created, to use the ocx controls without registration in the customer machine ? Thank you.
