Has anyone else experienced this?

When I copy a cell, the little moving lines around it don't show up. Also, if I do find and replace and I put in something that I know will not be found it does not give me a message that nothing was found. If I click replace all it replaces the values, but does not give me the message that x number of items were replaced.

If I open Excel in Safe Mode all works fine. But if I open a blank workbook without safe mode, then I run into those issues mentioned before.

So I have narrowed it down to my personal.xlsb workbook as if I close that workbook everything works fine. Maybe something is corrupt in that workbook?

Hoping someone else has maybe experienced this to see what they did. I am going to mess around with my personal workbook and see if I can pinpoint it to something in there.

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Ok, so I opened my personal.xlsb and unhid it and then re-hid it and saved the personal workbook and completely closed out and all appears to be fine. Wish I had done that 2 days ago.
