Excel as a web part w/ hyperlinks embedded SharePoint?

Hi,
I'm currently building a dashboard on SharePoint.
I'm trying to embed links within the cells of excel that will basically have drill down capability (as in take them to a chart on a different excel sheet, or an excel web part on another page).

Currently I can't get the embedded hyperlinks to do anything on SharePoint. Is anyone familiar at all with this? Or know how to get an excel web part's embedded hyperlink to function?
