Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
delete module

(Depending on security settings) excel gives the warning message when you have a module, even if it is blank (has no code). Delete the module.

Check to see if you have any empty modules in the VB Editor (usually named something like Module1, Module2, etc.).

Even if there are no macros, if there are empty modules, Excel thinks there are macros, so you must delete those empty modules (right click on them and select delete).
