Hi All

I have been taken over a report with macro from someone who has already left the company. This report takes over 17 hours to run and I experienced time out issue if there is no activity happens for 8 hours. As I need to run this report overnight.

I wonder is it possible to add in a Macro to auto save the report to the original path with a file name something like 'Report ddmmyy' as soon as the report has completed running, so I won't lose the report due to the time out issue?

Many thanks.

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Hi,
as any database software runs a hundred times faster than Excel so it's time to think about it !
You can add to your VBA procedure a SaveAs codeline …
