Does anyone know if there is a formula or if Excel has the capability of returning just the last two digits of a number? For example:

If the field shows AB.ABCD.A1, is there a way to pull just the last two digits so it would be "A1" in the column next to. (The last two characters)

I know text to column can parse out characters and separate them out, but you have to select a space, tab, or punctuation to do that and there are no spaces between the characters. If I were to use the period (.), then it parses out multiple because there is a period in the beginning too. I need to pull the last two digits for over a thousand rows, so was wondering if anyone advanced in Excel knew of another way.

Thank you so much.
