Excel Changes on one Worksheet Changes another Worksheet

I am using excel 2007. I have an excel workbook that has multiple worksheets. Sometimes when I input something into a cell, at a column or delete a column the follows through to other worksheets. I can't seem to solve what is occuring. Mostly I have a problem on worksheets that have merged cells. Anyone experience this problem and found a solution to this?

This typically happens when you accidentally select multiple sheets using SHIFT or CTRL when you select worksheets.

Usually, it's caused by a sticky key, and in my experience, those two keys stick more than others.

You should be able to see color differentiation on the sheets if more than one is selected.
