First time poster. Colleague recommended this site.

I am saving charts created in Excel as a web page (with 'AutoPublish every time workbook is saved' enabled) with the desire that when the data is updated, that the subsequent graph/chart is updated and then the webpage.

I configured everything but when I reopenned the file (to simulate an update at a future date), I find that the chart/graph is now an image and updating the data does not update the chart. So therefore the autopublish of the web page is not being updated.

Any ideas why Excel is converting my graph into an image? Can't find anything on Google to explain this behavior.

This problem is occurring in Excel 2007.

Any help or work around would be greatly appreciated
