I have a chart open and want to access the source data using a keyboard shortcut. If I use my arrow keys to select a data series, is there a keyboard shortcut I can use to open the source data window?

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Have you tried creating a macro with Ctrl+ the shortcut key of your preference?

I've seen this done a few times before with a preset shortcut, but can't remember what the key is. I think it's ctrl + a function key, or something along those lines.

If you've set your "Microsoft Excel Menu key" to / (see Tools | Options... Transistion tab) you can use the key sequence...
