I am not sure if I do not completely understand Excel Charts (in Excel 2002) or if this is a bug but I am finding that when creating a Bar Chart by using F11 I am getting all the same colors for all bars. Can someone please help me with this?

hi - welcome to the board!

by default, one series = one colour. to change individual point on the series, select the point, right click - go to format data point & change the colour.

... or plot the Series as rows (opposed to columns).

In the second step of Chart wiz, play with the column-row option.

Pretty much the same effect as Paddy suggested...
