A colleague sent me a spreadsheet with a clustered column chart with 3 series all on the primary axis. The puzzle is that two of the series have a gap width of 247 and one has a gap width of 121. The effect is to have two narrow bars side-by-side in front of a wider bar, all on the primary axis.
He doesn't know how he did it and wanted my help to recreate it in another file for someone else. I've always thought column gap widths had to be the same on a given axis, but apparently not. Does anyone have an idea how he did this?
