I've been running Excel on my PC for several years without a problem. Just recently it has started to crash as the program is loading with the following message. "EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in
module EXCEL.EXE at 0137:30026d69.

Originally I was running '97 I've just loaded Excel 2000 thinking the .exe might be corrupt but it's still giving the same message. Can anyone help please?

Thanks

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Hi Jeff,

Welcome to the board :)

Try to start XL via the command Start-Button | Run with following command:

excel.exe /s

Delete all temp-files (*.tmp) from the folder temp (located in different position depending on which operatingsystem You´re running.)- Locate it via the Explorer.

Mail back with feedback before we move on.

Kind regards,
Dennis

I've done as you suggested and XL loads correctly in Safe Mode.

When I try to start XL in the normal way it crashes and I get the error messages as before.
