Excel Crashes When Inserting Row(s)

Hello all,

I'm having an issue, which I found is quite common (nevertheless, I haven't found an answer for it).

Basically, I'm trying to add new rows (5 new rows, to be specific) on top of a table I previously created and formatted.

When I try to insert new rows, Excel crashes and gives me a message which says more or less "Excel can't finish this task with currently available resources...".

Has anyone experimented this kind of problem in here? I searched everywhere, I've read some tips, but none of them has worked until now...

My table has only 280 rows, and I created it using a pivot table, copying and pasting all cells values (at once).

Do I need to clear my memory, or make some adjustment? If someone could help, I'd be really grateful.

Thanks!

Heder

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Hi WarPig,

It's just a simple procedure, called from within another procedure. I'm not using any event to trigger it.

This procedure inserts five rows above the column headers, and adds simple formatting to these new rows...
