Excel crashes while trying to edit after Solver is used

Have problem in excel 2003 spreadsheet. After using and closing Solver excel will crash when attempting to edit a cell either using F2 key or clicking in toolbar window at top to invoke edit mode. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem. Thanks
