Hello All,

A workbook I developed is crashing on a vanilla copy/paste.

At bit of background:
* No VBA
* Issue happens whether I use toolbar or shortcut keys
* I have tried: (i) copying to another workbook; (ii) removing conditional formatting; (iii) unhiding and ungrouping rows and columns; and (iv) replacing customs styles with 'normal'

Feels corrupted. Welcome any thoughts.

Many thanks,
David

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
The first question:
How many cells are you trying to copy?
100
1,000
10,000
100,000
500,000
Or all the cells in the sheet

Hello My Answer Is,

Appreciate your reply. I am copying one cell containing text.

Forgot to mention previously that the issue is not encountered in other workbooks. Additionally, I did uninstall third-party add-ins.

Welcome your thoughts.

Kind regards,
David

I would suggest saving the file giving it a new name and then see how the new file works.

You said:

Does the problem always happen when you copy the same cell?
Or any cell?
