Using O365 and am trying data connections for first time and wonder if someone can help

In a File called JazzAbsenceMaster cell A1 went into Get data and from existing connections
Browse for more then opened up another file called JazzAbs on network

Found the file and it exported in ok and published table fine

My issue is that when any changes are made to the original JazzAbs records the data in the connected table in JazzAbsenceMaster is not updating automatically which was the whole point of trying to do.
Im not sure what part im missing and ive been into Trust centre to enable external table etc?

If I try to open and update manually I get message Query results cannot overlap a table

I would appreciate any help or advice as to what I am doing wrong.

I'm just trying to have JazzAbsenceMaster updated automatically even time there is a change to the records in JazzAbs

Hope this makes sense
regards
Ian

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
I'm guessing this message says it all: "If I try to open and update manually I get message Query results cannot overlap a table". Are you expecting the Query to return results even though an error is occurring?

Yes thats the message I'm getting but I'm not sure why. To be honest this is my first attempt at trying so I'm obviously doing something wrong. I tried to replicate as I seen online but I;m not getting very far so have had to park

I think the message is quite self-explanatory ... your Query results ( a table I would guess ), is positioned above or near another already existing table or list. Is that not the case?
