I made some changes to an excel file (added a new sheet, changed the order and numbers on first sheet) and when I opened the workbook today all the changes are lost! There is no reason for this happening - my data was successfully saved previously. Is there any way to restore the lost data?

Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
OK, I figured it out. There were TWO workbooks saved in that location with the same filename, one was .xls (97-2003) and the new one was saved as the default version .xlsx. When I opened the file, I was viewing the old .xls version and was not seeing the new .xlsx with the changes. I discovered this by searching for the filename and both files appeared.
