I am trying to do a simple transfer of data from Excel into Outlook, but every time Outlook just gets stuck at the same point.

I have named the range of names and addresses in the Excel file; closed Excel; gone into Outlook and clicked on Import data from antoher file and chosen Excel; chosen the file to import; chosen the destination folder... but when I click on next I always get a message: "The following actions will be performed" and "This may take a few minutes and cannot be canceled", and nothing ever happens.

(Note: The "Map Custom Fields" button is faded out and not available.

Any ideas?

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Run Detect and Repair for outlook.

by the way what are you actually exporting in outlook.
