Hi, I have been running into an issue where making a selection for a drop down in a cell does not end up replacing the previous value, but appends it.

So say the options are 1, 2, 3, 4. If I try to change the cell's value from 1 to 3, it just shows as 1, 3, with a data validation error. The only workaround I've found so far is deleting the contents of the cell before selecting from the drop down, but it defeats the purpose of the data validation.

Any thoughts? Everything I've searched shows ways to append multiple selections in a drop down instead of fixing this error.

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Sounds like you have some event code running on that sheet. Check the sheets code module for any code.
