Need help - excel in driving me insane!! - i have a lots of data to add up - sounds easy eh?? already sorted data is dropped into an excel table (copy and pasted in) in another sheet i need to put a conditional formula which i have and works - sumproduct function. Problem is when data is dropped into the sheet incorrectly i need to delete out the row. The formula still works but it changes it array to account for the missing row so my array goes down to 2000 but when i delete a row excel changes it to 1999. even absolute values are affected by this!! When i add in more data after deleting rows my final formula values can be as low as 1500 but i need it to always be at 2000.

=SUMPRODUCT((Monday!$A$2:$A$2000=A5)*(Monday!$H$2:$H$2000="Yes"))

thats my intial formula i use to get my results. any advice would be great!!

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
try

=SUMPRODUCT((offset(Monday!$A$2,0,0,2000,1)=A5)*(offset(Monday!$H$2,0,0,2000,1)="Yes"))

I haven't tried it but you should get the idea. Using the offset function locks in the size regardless of inserts and deletes.
