Hi all,

I have an excel form that I store in One Drive for use by several people. When it's opened on a laptop and printed out, the setting change and the page breaks alter so the information is spread over more pages than needed, but if the same form is opened on a desktop, the form is fine. I'm aware that the display settings on the laptop and PC can be different but I can't alter them to match due to health & safety (eye straining etc) - I just wondered if there was a way of fixing the form so it automatically alters to suit either application and prints out as it needs to.

Sorry if this is a bit vague but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

If the userform is too small for the laptop, you could build a smaller one that is designed for the smallest laptop screen (hopefully no one is using a smartphone). Then when the form should be displayed use the following to determine the monitor width in Pixels to choose which form to use:

VBA Code:
Function ReturnScreenWidthInPoints() As Single

    With Application
        .ScreenUpdating = False
        .WindowState = xlMaximized
        ReturnScreenWidthInPoints = .Width
        .WindowState = xlNormal
    End With

End Function

Excel contains over 450 functions, with more added every year. That’s a huge number, so where should you start? Right here with this bundle.
