In Office 2013 Excel on Windows 8 (and also Office 2010 Excel Windows 7) when I reduce magnification below 40% using MS tool near far bottom right all of the names that I assigned to ranges appear (in large font!)

How do I stop this?

I hoped I could post screenshots, but don't know how to make URL of them
I've put pix on Blogspot. It's easy to see what my complaint is.

Here's the link: Forum

Thanks,

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
I couldn't find a way turn this off. This is the normal behavior and I find it quite useful. Below 40% I can't read the data in the cells, so it doesn't bother me. What are you hoping to accomplish that this is hindering?

We have some financial reports where the authors used small magnification with huge font sizes to focus attention away from the column and row headers, without deactivating them, as well as rows and columns that were not hidden, but should be overlooked. We were unable to find any way to remove the range names yet.

There is no option to turn this off unfortunately but you can use code to make the named ranges invisible, then they are not displayed at the low zooms.
