Hi Everyone,

I have an Excel Workbook 2016(.xlsm extension) with macros with Multiple Worksheets. I have Dropdowns in many cells with options to select the answer but I am facing issue that Dropdown list is not showing when I send this Excel Workbook to others.

Also users are able to enter any text in my dropdown area.

Note:
My dropdown list is linked in other worksheet in same workbook.

Pls provide a solution for my above issue.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Is it a data validation dropdown? Not all versions allow you to directly assign a list on another worksheet as the list source for a validation dropdown. You should create a named range that points to that range on the other sheet, then use the name in the list source for the dropdown.

Yes, it is a Data Validation Dropdown further, the list in the other sheet is hidden for users to restrict editing.

Let me check your suggestion above and let you know.

Thanks for your reply.
