I am creating a list of companies I send resumes to.
example:columns : company, contact, sent via, date sent and resend date.

My question: when I enter the "date sent", is there a way for excel to show me in the in the "resend" column the date 6 months from the time entered(in the date sent column), when its time to resend my resumes.

I hope I explained myself right.

Thank you
Leonard (leonardharrietha@yahoo.ca)

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Without Analysis ToolPak you can use this:

=DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+6,DAY(A1))

Give you 6 months from the date in Cell A1

Use the EOMONTH FORMULA

=EOMONTH(A1,6) this brings you to the last day of the month "6" months away.
