Excel File too Large to download!

Hi. I am new to this and have a reasonable knowledge of Excel. I use 2003 at the moment.

Anyway I have purchased a database with just over 1 millions rows of date (about 12 columns) when I download it, it states cannot open file beyond 65,000 rows. Cant seem to get it into MS Access 2003. What is the bext way to download the data - it is a single file

Any answers welcomed
